Brown Bag Steak

Ingredients

  • Top Sirloin Steak: 3 pound(s)
    • cut 2 1/2 inch strips
  • Butter: 1/4 cup(s)
  • Vegetable Oil: 1/4 cup(s)
  • Garlic: 1 clove(s)
    • large
  • Salt: 2 teaspoon(s)
  • Pepper: 2 teaspoon(s)
  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese: 1 cup(s)
    • grated
  • Bread Crumbs: 1 cup(s)

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from steak.
  2. In a small bowl blend butter, oil, garlic, salt and pepper.
  3. Spread on all sides of steak strips.
  4. Mix cheese and bread crumbs
  5. Press steaks into cheese and bread crumb mixture, coating steaks well.
  6. Place breaded steaks into brown paper bags, folding end over securing tops well.
  7. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place brown bags on a rimmed baking sheet and cook for 30 minutes.
