Ingredients

  • Butter: 1/2 cup(s)
  • All Purpose Flour: 2 tablespoon(s)
  • Dijon Mustard: 2 tablespoon(s)
  • Heavy Whipping Cream: 1 cup(s)
  • Whole Milk: 1 cup(s)
  • Cream Cheese: 1 cup(s)
  • Medium Cheddar Cheese: 2 cup(s)
    • shredded
  • Hot Sauce: 1 tablespoon(s)
  • Salt : 1 teaspoon(s)
  • Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon(s)
  • Macaroni: 1 pound(s)

Instructions

  1. Heat Dutch oven on burner over low medium heat.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°.
  3. Melt butter and stirring flour, creating a roux.
  4. Whisk in Dijon, mustard, heavy cream, whole milk, and cream cheese until smooth and slightly thick.
  5. Whisk in cheese, a handful at a time and seasoned with hot sauce, salt and pepper.
  6. Stir and cooked noodles until thoroughly mixed. Sprinkle with extra cheese and cover with lid.
  7. Cook for 10 to 20 minutes until cheese is melted and browned slightly and the contents are bubbly.
  8. Allow cooling from 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
