Crème Brulle French Toast

Ingredients

  • Corn Syrup : 2 tablespoon(s)

  • Brown Sugar: 1 cup(s)
    • pan base
  • Butter: 1 stick
    • pan base
  • Half & Half: 2 cup(s)
    • bread soak
  • Vanilla: 1 teaspoon(s)
    • bread soak
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon(s)
    • bread soak
  • Egg: 8 egg(s)
    • bread soak
  • French Bread: 1 loaf(s)
    • torn into 1" or 2" pieces

Instructions

  1. Butter 9x13" pan and set aside.
  2. Melt pan base ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil, set aside.
  3. Mix bread soak ingredients together and set aside.
  4. Pour pan base into the buttered 9x13" pan.
  5. Place french bread pieces on top of pan base.
  6. Pour bread soak over french bread pieces coating the entire contents of the pan.
  7. Cover pan with Saran Wrap and soak overnight.
  8. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  9. Bake 20-25 minutes uncovered.
  10. Serve with Buttermilk Syrup.
